IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR THE 2011 DAY OF CARING

Over 400 volunteers turned out on August 25, 2011 to work on 38 different projects for the United Way Annual Day of Caring.  The weather was beautiful, helping to make the day a success.  Read more about the Day of Caring projects at the Mountaineer.   Thanks to all who unselfishly gave time, materials, and skills to improve the quality of life for the elderly and disabled residents of this community.  If you want to volunteer or contribute for next year's event, please call 828-356-2832.
