VOLUNTEER

Give an hour.  Give a Saturday.  Give your best.  We all have special talents.  Things we can do to help.  And when you reach out a hand to one, you influence the condition of all.  This section offers tools and resources for volunteer engagement in our community.  Whether you have a long-established volunteer relationship, or are just starting volunteer engagement, approach volunteerism in an entirely different way.  Visit the Haywood County Volunteer Center website for more information. 

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont have an immediate need for volunteers to participate in leadership of Girl Scout Troops in Haywood County.  You don't have to go it alone -- there are trainings and mentors to help you all along your path into leadership.  We also need co-leaders and Troop helpers.  Whatever your talent, Girls Scounts has a place for you.  Girl Scouts remains one of the few reasonably priced options for after-school activities for girls K-12 grade -- it's just $12 per year!  Help us bring the magic that is Girl Scouting to girls in Haywood County.  Call or email Kristi Brooks today at 828-252-4442, ext 3304 or kbrooks@girlscoutsp2p.org.
